Summary:

• We are looking for an experienced operations manager
• On-site role based in the city
• Occasional travel to Europes most popular destinations may be required
• Some holiday and/or weekend work may be necessary
• Fluent in English and Spanish required

About This RoleResponsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with freelance tour guides
• Assist in launching new paid and free tours
• Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations
• Visit meeting points to verify the accuracy of guide reports
• Monitor tour guide attendance and performance
• Evaluate the performance of freelance tour guides by participating in tours and identifying top-performing guides
• Manage customer issues and disputes effectively
• Handle unforeseen emergencies during operations
• Recruit or assist in recruiting tour guides
• Provide information on competitors and conduct competitor analysis

Skills and Attributes:

• Experience in operations within the tourism industry is required
• Experience in partner relations is essential
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Results-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in MS Excel and productivity software
• Familiarity with database management and internet search methods
