Data Analyst Intern
As part of the Business Performance Analytics team within Sales Strategy, your main mission will be to deliver robust, intuitive, and consumable business insights to empower Criteos CRO and Commercial leaders to build and drive their commercial strategy.
You will implement a data-driven approach to uncover insights and explain business performance. This role involves working with large and complex datasets, and requires someone who is comfortable exploring data creatively to identify trends, generate insights, and build a compelling narrative that informs decision-making.
This 6-month internship role will be based out in Barcelona, and starting in August/September 2025.
Your Mission:
- Provide analytical insights on Criteo performance, changes of market environment and competition
- Size business growth opportunities / threats. Translate findings into actionable insights for multiple levels of stakeholders
- Based on external and internal data, understand client behaviours, qualify potential of clients and prospects on new and existing business
Bachelors degree or higher in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business School)
Strong intellectual curiosity and analytical skills. Ability to structure and solve difficult problems. A good grasp of statistical modelling
Business acumen and interest for the ad tech industry
Hands-on experience using SQL for data manipulation and extraction. Familiarity with Python for data analysis. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau is a plus
Good presentation skills (including PowerPoint expertise) and ability to translate data into business insights & recommendations
Very good communication skills and fluency in English
