You will take over existing accounts in Valencia/Mercia, and you will also bring in new business for the Empresa. The bonus scheme is lucrative and achievable with quality work.

The Role

Sales

  • Manage your territory across Valencia and Murcia to maximise patient access, grow revenue and exceed sales targets.
  • Work with existing clients, and expand the number of procedures taking place at these accounts (approx. 60-80 per year)
  • Develop new relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in pulmonology and respiratory.
  • Navigate the Spanish healthcare market, including the Sistema Nacional de Salud, services, private hospital groups, procurement processes and treatment pathways.
  • Identify key accounts across public and private hospitals, assess sales potential and create account plans to achieve territory targets.
  • Develop centres of excellence and promote them to relevant clinical teams to support smooth patient pathways.
  • Deliver product presentations and training to hospital-based healthcare professionals, including pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, respiratory nurses and physiotherapists.
  • Attend relevant industry events, congresses and internal Empresa meetings.
  • Maintain accurate account activity in the CRM and provide opportunity updates.

Procedure Delivery

  • Support clinicians in identifying suitable patients for procedures.
  • Provide guidance and training to doctors and medical teams.
  • Follow up with treatment centres after procedures, offering support where needed.

The Person

  • 4+ years’ experience in a medical device, healthcare or life sciences field sales role.
  • Knowledge of medical devices, ideally respiratory, thoracic, interventional or related.
  • Strong understanding of public and private healthcare systems, including regional decision making, procurement, funding and referral pathways.
  • Existing contacts in respiratory medicine, interventional pulmonology or thoracic surgery would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of COPD treatment pathways would be advantageous.
  • Strong territory management, account planning, sales analysis and budget management skills.
  • Confident presenting to small groups of healthcare professionals.
  • Willing to travel frequently across your regions, happy to travel to other regions initially to increase your knowledge, and later to assist other staff members if required.
  • Full driving licence valid in España.
  • Fluent Spanish and strong English language skills.
