Flexible availability to work weekends when the family is in residence Hours: Flexible & adaptable; generally daytime hours with occasional adjustments depending on household needs Salary: Competitive, based on experience Role Overview We are seeking a warm, organised and proactive full-time housekeeper to join a young British couple in their private Inicio in Deia, Mallorca. The right person will take pride in creating a calm, beautifully maintained Inicio environment and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is ideal for someone who is naturally tidy, detail-oriented, and enjoys caring for a Inicio to a very high standard. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organisation and day-to-day upkeep of the household, working closely with the house manager and other staff when needed. During times when the family is away, you will not be required to work; however, when they are in residence, a higher level of flexibility and availability will be expected. What you will be doing: Maintaining the house to an exceptional standard of cleanliness and organisation Daily housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, laundry and ironing Changing bed linens and preparing guest rooms when friends or family are visiting Managing laundry and wardrobe care with attention to delicate fabrics Keeping household supplies well stocked and organised Working alongside the house manager and other staff to ensure the household runs smoothly Helping prepare the house for guests or small gatherings Traits that make you a great fit: Takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautiful and well-run Inicio Warm, discreet and positive personality Highly organised with strong attention to detail Reliable, trustworthy and respectful of privacy Able to work independently and anticipate household needs Flexible and adaptable when the family is in residence Bonus Points: Have previous experience working in a private household or hotel Are confident with wardrobe care, laundry and fabric maintenance Already live near Deia in Mallorca Have a driving license and car Speak confident English (Spanish also welcome) This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a relaxed, nature-filled setting with a friendly household that values positivity, professionalism and pride in one’s work.
