Embedded Software Engineer Descripción del Puesto: MISSION Within Embedded Sw Engineering department, the candidate will be involved in software development verification for high integrity airborne Real-Time systems. Candidate will be involved in the complete life-cycle of the embedded software product, from building the Sw requirements through to final testing and target computer implementation. Candidate should be able to lead and to take responsibility on design/architectural decisions as well as leading a specific project development. The candidate will join a passionate, committed, and multidisciplinary team where teamwork is paramount. Projects will consist on embedded software development for the Eurofighter in various phases such as P3Ec Step3, P4E, and even LTE. He/She may also be integrated into and/or participate in other ambitious and innovative projects such as the future FCAS, among others. RESPONSIBILITIES - Work at all levels of embedded software development according to specific SW standards (Sw Requirements, Sw Design, Sw Coding, Sw Verification, Sw Configuration, Sw Documentation release, Sw Change Management and Support software QA) - Partner with Product/Program Managers, System Engineers and Validation to drive software products. - Participate in the planning and scope for the team projects. - Support Product Owners and PMs to deliver high quality software on time. - Commit and deliver high quality software deliverables on time, cost and quality. - Promote innovation across the department. - Conceives team structure and constantly seeks opportunities to adjust team structure to maximize agility and efficiency. SKILLS Were looking for candidates with the following skills: - Educated in a Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering degree, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline . - Expertise on Real-Time software - Expertise on C/C++ and Ada (Low level development) - Expertise on software verification. - Expertise on Real-Time Operating systems (VxWorks, Linux-RT) - Experience on: Design Tools (HOOD, Rhapsody), integrated development environment (GNAT Programming Studio, Eclipse), verification tools (TestStand). - SW Certification: DO-178B/C , DO 254. - Previous experience in programs like Eurofighter and knowledge of applicable standards will be valued. - High level of English and Spanish WHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AIRBUS EMPLOYEE?
