Contract Engineer (Spanish & English speaker)– Industrial CAPEX Projects | España | €100M Portfolio

We are supporting a large asset owner in España delivering a portfolio of major industrial projects and seeking an experienced Contract Engineer to provide commercial oversight across multiple live construction sites.

The projects are entering civil works and erection phases, where strong contract administration is essential to protect schedule, budget, and funding milestones.

Experts available within the Sig 4–6 weeks will be prioritised.

Your Role

You will support project leadership by managing contract execution across three active projects (~€100M combined value) located across sites approximately three hours apart.

Your focus will be ensuring contractors meet contractual obligations while preventing opportunistic claims and managing commercial risk during construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage EPC and supplier contracts during construction and installation

• Review and challenge variations, claims, and contract deviations

• Track contractor payments and milestone compliance

• Identify commercial risks early and support mitigation

• Support project leaders with structured contract administration

• Maintain contract documentation and change tracking

Ideal Background

Experience managing contracts in large CAPEX construction projects, such as:

• Industrial manufacturing

• Energy / power generation

• Infrastructure or heavy construction

• Oil & Gas or petrochemical project

Fluent in English and Spanish is required

Strong experience with EPC contracts, claims management, and contract administration during execution phases is essential.
