Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, professional, and discreet Communications Secretary to support a senior international leader who serves as both the spiritual guide and administrative head of the organisation. This role focuses primarily on editorial, communications, and content coordination responsibilities (approximately 80%) alongside general operational and administrative support (approximately 20%).

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, time management, and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

Communications & Editorial Support (Approx. 80%)

  • Edit, format, and proofread written materials such as manuscripts, teaching resources, internal documents, and external communications.
  • Draft and manage content including newsletters, announcements, and official correspondence.
  • Ensure all written content aligns with the centre’s principles, tone, and editorial standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of publications and written projects.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure timely and accurate content delivery.

Operational & Administrative Support (Approx. 20%)

  • Support the scheduling and coordination of internal and external meetings.
  • Track tasks, deadlines, and deliverables on behalf of the leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records and support cross-functional communication between teams.
  • Anticipate logistical needs and provide proactive, structured support to the senior leader.
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion across all areas of work.
Required Qualifications
  • Fluent in English at a native or near native level, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in communications, editorial work, publishing, or related fields.
  • Understanding of digital newsletter management platforms and CRMs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience working in multicultural or international environments.
  • Valid driving licence and ability to drive in Mallorca.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience editing content related to education, psychology, personal development, or consciousness studies.
  • Familiarity with or interest in personal development, contemplative practices or related learning environments.
  • Understanding of basic design principles and familiarity with publication workflows (e.g., newsletters, PDFs, online resources).
