A global organization within the aerospace industry is seeking a Supply Chain Manufacturing Specialist to support and enhance end-to-end supply chain operations linked to structural manufacturing activities.

About the Role

This role plays a key part in aligning procurement, engineering, sourcing, and quality functions to ensure materials, tooling, and production requirements are delivered on time, at the right quality level, and in line with cost objectives. The Puesto focuses on supporting manufacturing activities across multiple external production environments. The opportunity offers remote work options within a dynamic and internationally oriented environment. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials including metallics, plastics, and composite materials (such as CFRP) combined with strong execution capabilities in supply chain and production planning.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage material flow across manufacturing operations, ensuring continuity of supply
Oversee procurement of raw materials and tooling used in aerospace structures production
Develop and maintain MRP-driven material plans, including safety stock and inventory strategies
Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and suppliers to support production schedules and resolve constraints
Monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, lead times, cost) and implement corrective actions
Support sourcing activities including supplier selection, RFQs, technical assessments, and onboarding
Manage lead times for critical and long-cycle materials, ensuring availability for production
Drive improvements in inventory management, logistics efficiency, and cost optimization
Contribute to make-or-buy decisions and support the introduction of new materials or products
Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100 / ISO), traceability, and documentation
Support production ramp-ups and new program launches within aerospace or advanced manufacturing environments
Maintain accurate data within ERP/MRP systems (BOMs, lead times, planning parameters)
Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies

Qualifications

Education (preferred): Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing operations within the aerospace sector, or similar industries such as automotive, space, or advanced manufacturing

Preferred Skills

Experience working with aerospace materials (metals, plastics, composites)
Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO quality frameworks
Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience managing international suppliers and complex supply chains
Background in project-based or industrial environments
