Job Description:

An opportunity for a General Procurement Buyer and Local Representative for Airbus Illescas plant has arisen within Airbus Getafe (Mad).

RESPONSIBILITIES

The jobholder will be responsible for:

Local Sourcing and Operations

As a buyer for the procurement of goods and services, within the General Procurement (GP) department, the employee will:

• Manage local sourcing activities, launching call for tenders and selecting suppliers.

• Ensurepliance with the procurement strategy and with GP processes and gelines.

• Draft and negotiate the relevant contracts with suppliers.

• Conduct the procurement process in order to fulfil business needs and customer satisfaction.

• Optimize bundling opportunities, synergies and harmonization to obtain the best solutions and protect Airbus from any risk.

• Ensure continuousmercial relationship with suppliers in order to secure work with best-in-class suppliers.

• Ensure achievement of saving and procurement performance in accordance with GP methodology and targets.

• Ensure operations and the issue of purchase orders with the expected quality and time to support the business.

• Analyse data and KPIs, proe relevant reporting.

• Ensurepliance and integrity in all activities, in accordance with Airbus values and rules.

General Procurement Local Representative (GPLR) in Illescas plant

In the GPLR role, the employee will:

• Support GP national manager in representing GP in Illescas plant.

• Contribute to the proactive management of the relation with internal customers to ensure target level of customer satisfaction.

• Support GP organisation and GP managers to ensure a successful and optimised presence of GP in the plant.

• Be the focal point for internal customers, understand their needs and proe technical and creative response and support.

• Ensure regular exchange andmunication with internal customers, and organise informative sessions to strengthen awareness on GP .

• Participate to the plantmittees and meetings.

• Lead GP projects in the plant, support initiatives and present proposals that support the local business.

• Support on-site business operations.

• Act as escalation point to GP national manager and Commodities for GP issues and topics, and escalate to internal customer management as appropriate.

• Ensure the procurement strategy reflects local specifics and needs.

• Support audits and act in accordance with findings when necessary.
