Travelzoo has an opening for a Sales Manager based in our Barcelona office. The Sales Manager [Travel] is responsible for expanding business in the Company’s current travel client portfolios (tour operators, travel agencies, affiliate partners and hotel chains) as well as generating new business in the French and Spanish market.
Do you feel…
- Motivated to develop successful advertising sales relationships within the French and Spanish travel industry, both via telephone and in person
- Keen to have a sales focus on tour operators, travel agencies, affiliate partners and hotel chains
- Driven to meet or exceed quarterly sales goals, through account development and new business
- Able to consultatively sell Travelzoo’s suite of online media opportunities, especially CPC and Fix Fee agreements
- Capable of evaluating campaign results and developing long-term, stable customer relations
- Conent to work with colleagues globally to ensure that opportunities are fully leveraged and the very best content for our members is secured
- Responsible to expand the internalwork and closely cooperate with other departments
- Empowered to represent Travelzoo at various industry events
You areeally…
- A professional with at least 3-5 years of relevant professional sales experience
- Well connected with marketing professionals in the travel industry
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- Skilled in planning, developing, and executing online sales strategies
- Knowledgeable of the tourism industry and online media
- An excellent organisational and interpersonalmunicator with particular emphasis on presentation, sales expertise, and negotiation techniques
- A professional with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as good target, solution, and customer orientation
- An analytical thinker
- Able to achieve results while working independently
- Reliable with a sovereign appearance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Power Point)
- Fluent in English with business proficiency in French and Spanish
