Client: important textilepany, with presence in international markets, specialised in recycled fibres, needs to incorporate.

Position: Legal Counselor

Location: Mad, Spain

Functions:

• Develop standard terms and conditions for contracts with third parties (suppliers, clients). Continuosuly update versions of clauses, templates and attachments to build excellence in contract management.
• To negotiate terms and conditions with third parties with whom thepany wishes to contract.
• To ensure governance on all corporate’s assumption of obligations, gathering all existing contracts, creating a general control of terms and obligations, including the anticipation of periodic renewals for creatingeal chances of renegotiation.
• To manage external law firms hired to proe expertise on international/local legal matters, supporting Recover’s management in building growth solutions.
• Management of litigation (civil and tax) and intellectual property with the support of external law firms.
• Proe legal support and advice to internal clients; control and risk management related to legal issues.
• Responsible for Corporate Governance, helping to structure and control the distribution of rights and responsibilities between the different parties in the organization, establishing decision-making rules.
• Support and register Board of Directors Meetings and Annual General Meetings, writing Board resolutions and ensuringpliance with legal requirements.
• Responsible for the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) adequacy and monitoring.

Profile:

• Professional qualification in Law.
• Min 3 years hands-on experience in contract drafting/reviewing/negotiating role.
• 3-5 years in a similar position and working within a multinational requiring analysis of data and making balanced risk decisions.
• Self-starter with ability to plan, organize multiple projects and achieve results.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work with colleagues across multiple time zones and countries.
• Excellent written and verbalmunication skills.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Availability to travel 10-15% of the time.
