ICFO is a research center located in the Mediterranean Technology Park in the metropolitan area of Barcelona, and currently hosts 400+ people, including researchers, PhD students and staff personnel. Today, in its area of specialization and category, the institute is consistently ranked among the highest-quality research institutions worlde, and a leading institution in our fields for training the next generation of masters students, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers.
ICFO’s Library proes support to ICFO’s researchers managing scientific outputs aligned with the Open Science principles. This covers: scientific articles, books, CV’s, records, research data, data management plans, doctoral thesis, and lab notebooks.
We are currently looking for a Librarian assistant, who will temporary join our team, proing advice in term of Open Science and managing several platforms that collect all these items.
The main responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Managing the library
- Managing the archive
- Managing the intr
- Managing the Scientific Information system
- Managing the labnotebook database
- Assuringpliance with Open Science policies (Open Access, FAIR data,entifiers, DMP’s, repositories)

REQUIREMENTS
The appointee must have:
- Librarian Science degree
- Previous experience in a similar position in a STEM research center
