Develops and drive business with existing and new customers in line with business gelines in the country while meeting or exceeding financial and non-financial targets for the PM Portfolio. Responsible to drive and implement – in close collaboration with the Clinical Specialists – the strategy established by the management of RMS.

• The working territory is Valencia & Castellon.

• Initially 6 months fixed-term contract.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Selling and account support

§ Analyse the marketplace, develop an effective territory/account sales strategy, and present the strategy to management to gain approval for implementation.

§ Perform all activities to maximize sales (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation.

§ Identify and address all key decision makers (clinical, administrative/economic) and key opinion leaders in all accounts and report on them via the proed systems and personally to the district manager on a regular basis.

§ Further increase pration in existing accounts, develop existing accounts into potential new product therapies/patient therapies and develop actual non-buying accounts.

§ Build – together with regional and business manager – strong and lasting business relationships with key opinion leaders and key decision makers influential in the purchasing process.

§ Identify, prepare, and execute uing tenders.

§ Attend, participate, andmunicate about presentations in key professional congresses and events as required.

§ Proe technical support to customers (i.e., physicians, consultants, cardiologists) according to territory gelines.

§ Ensure that consignment and all other stock levels are properly controlled, according to the asset management gelines and targets.

§ In conjunction with regional sales manager, plan sales coverage/resources in the most effective and economical manner.

§ Support clinical activities on request.

Education/training

§ Train and educate relevant hospital staff on Medtronic products.

§ Use Medtronic resources, if necessary, in the most effective way.

§ Maintain and acquire constantly new product, technology, market, health care environment, sales tool, and process knowledge.

§ Acquire and improve constantly all necessary professional selling skills, in accordance with thepany’s personal development program.

Internal and administrative:

§ Report and regularly update all account, market andpetitive information and trends and metrics in aprehensive,plete, and timely fashion.

§ Report immediately and accurately all negative customer or product related events (e.g., customer feedback, product and legal issues and risks etc.).

§ Plan and prepare sales forecasts by account, product, and therapy for the territory along with proposed meetings/customer activities and investments.

§ Carry out all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner, (i.e., customer reports, stock reports, monthly reports, etc.). Proe regular activity report to district manager.

§ Attend all required regional, national, and international Medtronic meetings.

Must-Have: Minimum Requirements

§ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Life-science, Marketing, BA, or another relevant degree.

§ At least 5 years selling experience in the medical device industry.

§ Highly valuable experience in intensive care unit and/or anaesthesia area.

§ Knowledge of the Medical Industrypetitive marketplace.

§ Fluency in English.

§ Marketing knowledge is valuable.

§ Knowledge of the decision-making process with customers (economic buyer, reimbursement).

§ Sales Force Competencies.

§ Computer literacy.

§ Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision.

§ Team oriented.

§ Full clean driver license.
