The Role

The Project Accountant will play a critical interim role within Blexrs Finance Chapter: a skilled and inclusive team that uses their expertise to support Blexrs growth. The team works collaboratively to deliver a broad and varied remit, responsible for running the companys financial accounting, forecasting & budgeting, treasury, statutory reporting & group accounting across our geographies.

What Youll Be Doing

Coming in on an interim basis, youll use your inspired, systems led experience to quickly make an impact. Partnering with the Head of Finance and Senior Finance team, youll provide effective financial support with a big focus on process improvement and system development. You will support the Head of Finance with reviewing processes and ways of working and support the team with system changes and upgrade. All geared towards enabling Blexrs continued growth and success.

Your key responsibilities

• Acting as the right-hand person to the Head of Finance and Senior Finance team, using initiative to unlock blockers and deliver creative solutions
• Superuser and key support for Finance System UAT and associated transition
• Delivering financial reporting tasks on an ad-hoc basis (as assigned)
• Collaborating across the team and demonstrating proactivity to deliver projects (as assigned)
• Supporting team with preparation for Audit & Year End activities

Were looking for…

• Strong Financial Accounting experience gained in a Group Accounting environment
• Financial System Expertise (preferably superuser level)
• Proactive self starter, energised by finding creative solutions
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities at pace across geographies
• Excellent communication & organisation skills

It would be a bonus if…

• Microsoft Dynamics Experience
