Job Title: Informatica IDMC Architect

Location: (Remote) Barcelona, Spain

As a Senior Informatica IDMC Architect with over 15 years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing an intelligent data management and curation strategy using Informaticas suite of tools. Your extensive experience will be invaluable in creating a robust data architecture, ensuring data quality and governance, and optimizing data processes to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Strategy: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and execute a comprehensive IDMC strategy aligned with business goals and data requirements.

2. Data Architecture: Leverage your deep expertise to design a highly scalable and flexible data architecture and framework using Informatica PowerCenter, MDM, and EDC.

3. Data Quality Assurance: Utilize your extensive knowledge to implement advanced data quality standards, rules, and workflows using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) to monitor and enhance data accuracy and reliability.

4. Data Integration: Lead the development of complex data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter to consolidate data from diverse sources, ensuring data consistency and completeness.

5. Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies, roles, and responsibilities using Informatica Axon to ensure data compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

6. Master Data Management (MDM): Leverage your experience to design and implement highly sophisticated MDM solutions using Informatica MDM to manage and maintain master data records across the organization.

7. Data Cataloging and Metadata Management: Lead the implementation of advanced data cataloging tools and metadata management practices using Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) to enhance data discoverability and lineage tracking.

8. Data Curation: Define and oversee data curation strategies to curate, enrich, and prepare data for advanced analytics and reporting, leveraging your vast expertise.

9. Data Security: Utilize your extensive knowledge to implement comprehensive data security measures using Informatica Data Masking and Data Encryption to protect sensitive information.

10. Data Lifecycle Management: Develop and manage sophisticated data lifecycle management processes to archive, retain, and dispose of data in compliance with retention policies, leveraging Informatica ILM.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· A proven track record of over 20 years as an Informatica IDMC Architect or a similar role.

· Deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, MDM, EDC, and IDQ.

· Extensive knowledge of advanced data quality assessment and improvement techniques.

· Proficiency in implementing data cataloging and metadata management tools.

· In-depth familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and compliance requirements.

· Exceptional communication and leadership skills, honed over decades of experience.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, informed by your extensive career.

· Outstanding project management skills for overseeing complex IDMC initiatives.
