Children s Reential Care Worker

Stoke On Trent Region £10.90ph with an additional £30.00sleep in rate.

The children in our care range between the ages of 8-18 years of age and have a range of EBD needs. This may include emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Our research informs us that other proers inflated sleep in rates do not incur additional disturbance allowance as we do and we do not cap sleep in rates on earning potential or overtime.

Every person that starts with us is supported and developed; our registered manager is very experienced but new to the home, supported by an equally experienced deputy both aremitted to ensuring that you work within a nurturing home environment. We have a regional dedicated trainer who will help youplete yourprehensive induction with us and you can rely upon the support of a regional clinician from our multi-disciplinary team.

Within this home, we support young people of mixed age and gender and we have some great successes. The young people we support are very well adjusted to school and are achieving great marks and participating in a number of activities.

A full in-house team is available to support your learning and development and for you if you wish to sustain a long term and progressive career with an organisation that has an International presence like no other proer in this field.

Benefits:

• Salary shown is based on full time shifts (inclusive of 8 sleeps per month)
• £500-£1,000 sign up bonus – T&C’s apply

• Time and a half for overtime (after 173 hours)

Requirements:

• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• 12 months experience working in a reential setting – desirable
• Duties

No day is the same but you will:

• Proe support and care to each young person
• Proe encouragement when getting ready for education
• Travel with the young people (Use of Company Car)
• Complete care planning
• Complete Task Sheets
• Complete Meal Preparation
• Organise and facilitate social activities
• Maintain the home (cleaning, laundry etc.)
• Maintain home management
• Liaise with external stakeholders and our own multi-disciplinary team
